The Guildhall, Bath, hosts the Consortia Conference 2012The Consortia Conference 2012 takes place in Bath’s prestigious Guildhall, which is very centrally located. The Guildhall is an easy ten minute walk from Bath Spa train station.  If you’re staying the night before, your hotel may have car parking. Alternatively, long term car parking is available at Charlotte Street or Avon Street car parks.

Travelodge Bath Central www.travelodge.co.uk – reviews do mention noise (there is a nightclub open till 3.30am-4am, 6 nights a week, closed Sunday, situated above the hotel, therefore there will be some noise disruption to customers), but it’s very central and an easy 10-12 minute walk from The Guildhall. Overnight parking is available at Broad Street car park directly behind the hotel, free from 8pm-8am and short term daytime parking £1.20 per hour and £5 per 4 hours from 8am-8pm. Alternative long term parking is also available in Charlotte Street (5 mins walk), free from 8pm-8am and £8.50 for 11 hours from 8am-8pm. Room rates from £39.50 NB the cheapest deals are online.

Also Travelodge Bath Waterside – approx. easy 20 minute walk across the river. Rates from £59.50. Britannia Parking Ltd operate the hotel car park on behalf of Travelodge. Parking is charged at £5 per 24 hrs.
